Samrat Darwaza
inspired Dabu stole
The imposing gateways of the pink city with intricate fresco at the entrance or the smaller, each has a role to play and a story to tell. Inspired by the royal architecture of Jaipur, Stoles were printed using the mud resist printing technique called, ‘Dabu’, dyed in Indigo. Instead of using blocks, a cone made using up cycled milk packets filled with the mud paste with a tiny nozzle at the tip of the cone was used apply the clay resist.
